The Disha Center for the Gifted & Talented (DCGT)
is a center that seeks to identify, guide, and empower the Gifted. Disha Center for the Gifted is a Global Affiliate of the California Association for the Gifted. As part of the Global Affiliate Program we Identify, Assess and Counsel the Gifted and their parents to help them realize their exceptional abilities. The Gifted are individuals who have outstanding abilities and are capable of high performance and thus need unique educational and recreational opportunities. Its a social and moral responsibility to HELP, GUIDE AND EMPOWER these individuals to help realize their unique potential.What we do for our Gifted:
Assessment and identification of the gifted
Parent sensitizing and education workshops
Teacher training and sensitizing workshops
Support groups for the parents of the gifted
Enrichment groups for the gifted students
