A Counselling Psychologist from the University of Mumbai, Sukhada has a rich and versatile experience of 14 years in the field of counseling and psychotherapy. She is passionate about working with children, teens, young adults and adults, as well as parent-teacher populations needing support and counseling. Sukhada is actively involved in conducting individual and group therapy sessions and has considerable experience in running support groups for differently-abled population. Having been trained in myriad therapeutic modalities viz. play therapy, metaphor therapy, behaviour modification strategies as well as REBT, she believes in practising a client-centered and eclectic approach while helping clients. Having worked in multidisciplinary health settings, Sukhada works in alignment with allied health professionals like Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and so on to provide as a SPOC across diverse therapeutic goals for clients.

Over the years, she has equipped herself with various tools and psycho-spiritual healing modalities viz. Traditional Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki by William Lee Rand and is a certified Master Teacher Trainer of Magnified Healing. Sukhada believes in integrating healing practises as per the consent and need of the clients. Sukhada is also the practising psychologist at R.A Podar College of Commerce & Economics (Autonomous) as part of Disha’s School College Mental Health programme, and has been making regular contributions to Disha’s Employee Assistance Programmes.
